Donald Lee Keele(1948 - 2012)

Donald Lee Keele, age 63, of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

He was born on November 3, 1948, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Louis and Lydia (Lappat) Keele.

Don grew up in Sedalia and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1967. On June 8, 1968 he was united in marriage to Deborah Gibson at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sedalia. He worked for Tullis Hall Dairy until it was sold, then to Gibson Implement and later in shipping & receiving at ADCO MFG for seventeen years, retiring in 1998.

He loved to travel, and work on and restore old cars. However, his greatest enjoyment was to have his children and grandchildren around him. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who deeply loved his family, and will be dearly missed by all of them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Kathy Spear, a nephew, Arthur Belanger, Jr. and a niece, Charlotte Belanger, and his father-in-law T.H. Gibson.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of the home, one son, Donald Keele II, and his wife, Lisa, of Warsaw, one daughter, Tyrena Scott, and her husband, Brian, of Sedalia, Missouri, four grandchildren: Kelsy and Karly Keele and Korbin and Kole Scott, one brother, Leroy Keele, and his wife, Ruth, of Sedalia, a sister, Sherlene Belanger, and her husband, Arthur, of Warrensburg, Missouri, his mother-in-law, Mary Virginnia Gibson, of LaFeria, Texas, two sister-in laws: Pam Crawford, and her husband, Mike, of Warsaw, and Gina Doogs, and her husband, Tim, of Sedalia, many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at the St Ann Catholic Church in Warsaw, with Father Mike Murphy officiating. Visitation was held Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Reser Funeral Home with a Vigil Service to follow.
