Fred Cable, age 97, Stover, died Saturday, September 5, 2009, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
He was born September 30, 1911, in Camden County, a son of John and Bessie Tombs Cable.
He married Anna Mae Unglaub, January 16, 1939. She preceded him in death, January 8, 2003.
He worked at the Biltwell Pants Factory in Tipton for many years. He was a member of the Stover United Methodist Church.
Survived by one brother Henry (Mary) Cable of Stover and nieces, nephews.
Services will be 11:30 A.M. Wed., Sept. 9, at the Stover United Methodist Church, with friends received from 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. at the church.
Grave side services will be 2:00 P.M. Wed., Sept. 9, in the California Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Food Pantry c/o Stover United Methodist Church.
