Glenn Blair, 92, Stover, Missouri, died Monday, May 11, 2009, at Foxwood Springs Nursing Home, Raymore, Missouri.
He was born February 1, 1917, in Mankato, Kansas, the son of Aaron and Elizabeth Breininger Blair. On August 20, 1939, he married Melva Fajen, who preceded him in death March 4, 1996.
In 1947, along with his father-in-law Charles Fajen, he co-founded the Fajen & Blair Gunstock Factory in Stover.
Glenn was also an avid clock collector and a charter member of the Kansas City Chapter of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover. He resided in Stover for 60 years.
He is survived by one daughter, Janice Hill, Kansas City; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Blair, Lincoln, Nebraska; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two nephews, five nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 15, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover with Rev. Cecil Murdock officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 15, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
