Albert Kreisel Obituary

Albert Edward Kreisel, 72, of Otterville passed away August 7, 2010 in Versailles.

Mr. Kreisel was born September 16, 1937 in Sedalia, Mo to Oscar and Anna Steffens Kreisel. He was married to Johnnie Mae Glenn July 13, 1962 in Cole Camp. She survives of the home.

He was a truck driver for Quinn Concrete of Marshall and also a self employed logger. He loved to hunt and fish and an avid mushroom hunter, He was known for his garden produce, especially sweet corn and watermelons.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter Kathy Thompson and husband Bruce of Otterville; one son John Kreisel and three grandchildren Glenn, Garrett and Kit Thompson; three sisters AnnaBell Lang, Minnie Canida and husband Wilbur of Cole Camp, Mary Alice Kraft and husband Steve of Mounds, Okla.; three brothers Ocar and wife Barbara of Sedalia, Harry Lee and wife Denise, and Fred John and wife Debbie of Cole Camp.

He was proceeded in death by sister and brother-in-law Kenneth and Helma Wheeler; one brother Elmer, and two sister-in-laws Bessie Kreisel and Sue Glenn.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 10, 2010 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Otterville from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials can be made to the National Stroke Association or to a scholarship fund for the grandchildren.
