Uncle Jim and family,
We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Doris and wish there was something we could do to make the loss easier for you. Doris was such a beautiful woman: feisty, elegant, funny, so caring of others and always so gracious. She listened to people and was always so supportive of everyone. She will be missed but we know she has left a legacy, her much loved family. Love,

Good evening, Senator:
After I received the sad news that my sister, Linda, shared with me, I began remembering how long we have been friends beginning in Lincoln, Sedalia, and finally those years I lobbied you from Jefferson City.
I always thought the Senator's Lady was one classy gal and how lucky you were that she married you.
I know you'll miss her deeply as will so many, many others like me, Jim. However, I know you are comforted knowing she is in a far better place while she waits to be reunited with you, Sir.

Uncle Jim, Aunt Betty, Uncle Deb and Family: Aunt Doris was a beautiful person and will be forever missed. I am thankful to have some of her paintings in my home. She was loved by all that knew her. It gives me comfort to know that she's in Heaven with grandma and my mom now.

Uncle Jim and family
Aunt Doris was a dear person that I always enjoyed talking to when I was at your home or a family get together. Last year when I stopped in Sedalia I am glad that we stopped at your home and I visited with her about books and other interests. God Bless all of the family and may Aunt Doris rest in peace with the Lord.
