Amy A. (Boatcher) Wendt (1988 - 2013)

Mrs. Amy A. Wendt, 24, Trenton MO, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., Slater Funeral Home Trenton. The body will be cremated after service.

A secondary celebration of life will be held at a later date in Sedalia. Memorials have been requested for the Wendt Family. Family visitation will be at Slater Funeral Home, Friday from 7:00 To 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Wendt, was born June 6, 1988 in Sedalia, the daughter of Olan August and Cheryl Ann Smith Boatcher, Jr. She graduated from Smith-Cotton High School, and obtained her Certified Nurse's Aide Certificate from State Fair Community College, both of Sedalia.

On July 11, 2010 she was married to Aaron A. Wendt at Sedalia.

Survivors include her husband Aaron, one daughter, Caylee Wendt, and one son, Connor Boatcher-Wendt, all of the home; her mother and father, Cheryl and Olan Boatcher, Jr., Sedalia; one brother, Austin Boatcher, Sedalia; mother-In-law, Cindy Calivere, and husband, John, Trenton; father-in-law, Tom Wendt, and wife, Jamie, Trenton; and paternal grandfather, Olan Boatcher, Sr., Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Betty and Donald Smith, and paternal grandmother, Nadine Boatcher.
