Betty Lee (Pinkerton) Norman passed away at her home in Sedalia on June 7, 2013. She was born on April 7, 1953 and she was 60 years of age.
Betty is predeceased by her mother, Patricia Osborne and father, Thomas B. Pinkerton, Jr.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Norman, of 42 years. They were married in Reno, Nevada on December 15, 1971.
Betty is lovingly remembered by her sons: James Edward Norman, of Grandin, MO, and Jason Allan Norman, of Sedalia, and Jason's wife, Jamie Renee Norman. Her grandchildren are Thomas James Norman, Taylor Michele Woolery, Bailey Nichole Norman, Kaitlin Elizabeth Norman and Lance Michael Norman. Her brother, Thomas Pinkerton, III, and her sisters, Patty Kroeger, Camille Hudgins and Jayne Bedore.
Betty was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and resided in Sedalia for more than 25 years. She retired from Wal-Mart after 20 years of dedicated service. She loved her extended family at Wal-Mart. Before her career at Wal-Mart, Betty had the opportunity to live in Italy and England, and she loved to travel. She was a very talented woman that enjoyed many hobbies. One of the many things that she enjoyed doing was supporting the Boy Scouts of America.
The visitation, funeral and celebration of life will be held at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home at 701 S. Osage Ave., Sedalia, MO 65301 at 10:00AM, Monday, June 10, 2013.
