SEDALIA - Elizabeth Gressley, 99, of Sedalia, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born September 24, 1914, in New Wilmington, PA, the daughter of the late Stewart S. and Madolin (Barrows) Buck. On September 14, 1934, in Indiana, PA, she married Raymond H. Gressley, who preceded her in death on December 8, 2002.
She was a 1932 graduate of Indiana High School and had attended every class reunion including her 75th in September 2007. She retired as manager of Gulf Research Employees Credit Union at Harmarville, PA. She was a former member of the Sedalia Knife and Fork Club.
She is survived by two children, Raybetta Moore (Bob), of Sweet Springs, and Kenneth Gressley (Barbara), of Leesburg, FL; daughter-in-law, Madge Gressley, of Sedalia; seven grandchildren, Keith McCandless, Raymond Gressley, Scott Gressley, Gregory Gressley, William McCandless, Christina Gant and Randall Gressley; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Stuart Gressley.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
Entombment will be in Oakland Cemetery Mausoleum, Indiana, PA.
