Ethel M. Sickler, age 93, of Sedalia, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on September 3, 1920, near Cole Camp, Missouri, the daughter of Benjamin and Della Swearngin Brown.
She was united in marriage to Timothy Sickler on April 12, 1938, in Ionia, MO. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1982.
Surviving is one son, James Sickler and wife, Shirley, of Shawnee, KS, three daughters, Joann Angle and husband, Kenneth, of Lincoln, MO., Elsie Owens and husband, Leroy, of Warrensburg, MO and Patricia Thompson and husband, Ron, of Sedalia, MO, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, three sisters, Elva Davis of Sedalia, Hazel Inman and Ruth Craig, both of Cole Camp and a brother, Otis Brown of Sedalia.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and one granddaughter.
Funeral services at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, MO. Burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery near Cole Camp, MO. Family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice in care of the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO.
