Frieda G. Knox, age 79, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, at the Resthaven Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born on February 11, 1933, in Benton County, MO., the daughter of Ben and Della Swearngin Brown.
She grew up in Benton County, and was married to Ralph Knox on April 10, 1954 in Cole Camp, MO. They made their home in Cole Camp, moving to Sedalia in 1964. She was a homemaker.
Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
Surviving is her husband, Ralph, of Sedalia, two sons: Mike Knox and John Knox, and his wife, Kathy, all of Sedalia, and one daughter, Amy Consolver, and her husband, Lloyd, also of Sedalia, three grandchildren, and one brother, Otis Brown, of Sedalia, and four sisters: Ethel Sickler and Elva Davis, both of Sedalia, and Hazel Inman and Ruth Craig, both of Cole Camp, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO., with visitation an hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery near Cole Camp, MO. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice in care of the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, P.O. Box 400, Lincoln, MO 65355.
