SEDALIA - Hazel Nadine Turner, 96, of Sedalia, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Tipton Oak Manor.

She was born August 16, 1917, in Gilman City, a daughter of the late William E. and Nellie B. (Terhune) Christopher. On July 2, 1939, she married Floyd J. "Bud" Turner, Sr., who preceded her in death on November 6, 1964.

She was a member of First Baptist Church. Prior to that, she had been a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was a homemaker. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Eva and John Mothersbaugh; a sister, Nina B. Casady; three brothers, John W. Christopher, James E. Christopher and Lloyd E. Christopher, who died in infancy.

Funeral service will be 2 pm, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Marlin Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Mothersbaugh, Eric Mothersbaugh, Michael McCown, Marvin Casady, Bill Casady and Rob Casady. Interment will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens.
