Joshua Len Holbert, 19, of Sedalia, passed away, Friday, December 7, 2012. He was born on October 12, 1993, in Columbia, MO, a son of Charles Cook (Lisa) of Eldridge, MO and Mildred Holbert of Sedalia.
He loved motorcross racing, paintball and playing video games. He also enjoyed fishing and riding around with his dad on country roads.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters: Jessica Holbert of Sedalia, Sharon Harrington, of Bunceton and Falicity Cook of Harrison, AR; two brothers: Saquoya and Jeremy Cook of Harrison, AR; maternal grandparents, Don and Mary Holbert of Sedalia; paternal grandma, Mary Cook of Camdenton; maternal great grandma, Marie Holbert, of Kansas City and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Isaiah Garner; his maternal grandma, Vickie Lee Adkins; paternal grandpa, James Cook, Sr; maternal great grandpa, Leonard Holbert and his paternal great grandparents.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Rea Funeral Chapel Sedalia, with Rev. Logan Patrick officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Special Olympics of Missouri in care of the funeral chapel.
