Kevin Riecke, 52, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 31, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Wanda Sanders and William Willis Riecke.
He was a 1982 graduate of Central Missouri State University, where he attended on a wrestling scholarship, and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. He worked many years in radio, including the Cromwell Radio Group, WKDQ and the Kentucky Alliance for Radio & TV. He had a passion for computer gaming that he passed on to his children. He is a member of Westside Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Trena Riecke; his children: Dillon Riecke, Dustin Riecke, Amanda Riecke, Denver Riecke and Addison Riecke, all of Owensboro; two brothers: Keith Riecke, of Wisconsin, and Kirk Riecke, of Missouri; a sister, Lynn McConnell of Texas; a half-sister, Rhamanda, of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho, KY.
Visitation is from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
