Lloyd J. Best, 94, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of rural Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Marshall Senior Center. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com
On November 15, 1940, he married Mary L. Cromley, who preceded him in death on January 30, 2001. On February 13, 2002, he married Betty Bennett Cramer who survives of the home. He had lived in Saline County most of his life, moving to Sedalia in 2002.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Richard Best, and wife, Judy, of rural Marshall; one stepson, Ronald Cramer of Centralia, MO; four grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
