Lynn D. Sanders, age 86, of Carrollton, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at his home. He was born on October 18, 1927, in Wakenda, MO, to the union of Harry Winston and Geneva Wilson Sanders. He attended Elderbloom Grade School and graduated from Wakenda High School in 1945. On September 25, 1945, Lynn married the love of his life, Marie Kathryn Huffman, in Kansas City, KS. They enjoyed nearly 65 years of sharing farm life together until Marie's passing in June of 2010. Lynn was a member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church.

Lynn is survived by three sons: Gary Sanders and wife Cheryl, Bill Sanders and wife Nancy, of Carrollton, MO, and Charles (Ed) Sanders and wife Carol, of Sedalia, MO; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and one sister-in-law.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers-in-law, and one nephew.
Funeral Services were held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bittiker Funeral Home, Carrollton, MO. Burial was in Carroll Memory Gardens.
