Marchetta Frances "Marty" Stout Obituary
Marchetta "Marty" Frances Stout, 86, of Sedalia, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2013. She was born on February 13, 1927, in Kansas City, a daughter of Emile and Helen (Busick) Overby.

She was united in marriage to Samuel Green, on September 9, 1943, who preceded her in death on November 22, 1986. On February 14, 1997, she was united in marriage to Orville Stout, who survives of the home.

She loved her husband, children and pets dearly. She enjoyed lake living, quilting, gardening and going to the boats. She spent many enjoyable years traveling with her husband who worked on the pipeline. They loved buying and selling antiques at flea markets and their shop. Marty was a member of VFW Post 2591, Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda (Jerry) Page, of Smithton, and Sandra (Tom) Kerr, of Lake Ozark; four step daughters: Jo (Eugene) Colvin, of Sedalia, Georgia (Ron) Pedego, of Tipton, Dorothy "Cookie" (John) Hyer, of Sedalia and Katy (Dave) Graff, of Arizona; fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jaeger and a stepbrother, Dick Ditzfeld.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 22, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Jack Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Memorials are suggested to The Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of the funeral chapel.
