Maria Lujan Ramirez, 92, passed away quietly Wednesday, November 28th at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Sedalia Missouri. She was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born to Fidel and Mercedes Lujan. She was the second to the eldest of nine children. She was married to Jesse Espita Ramirez now deceased. They moved to California in the late 1950's where she lived most of her life in Azusa, as a homemaker, and working occasional jobs.

She liked going to thrift stores, and would talk with anyone even if she did not know them. She loved to sit out on her front porch, when she was not watching western and classic movies. She would get a big smile on her face when you brought her candy. She always had dogs, cats, and birds,but her poodles were her favorite.
She is survived by her nine children: Jesse Ramirez, of Methuen, Mass.; Joseph Ramirez, of Houston, Texas; Gloria Romero, of Long Beach, Calif.; Clive Cobby of England, United Kingdom; Robert Ramirez, of San Dimas, Calif.; Alexander Ramirez, of San Dimas, Calif.; Mary Frances Rincon, of Montclair, Calif.; Berta Graves, of Sedalia, Missouri; and Ramona Rodriquez, of Azusa , Calif., 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The Rosary is 6pm Sunday, 12/02/2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 421 Marconi St., Wichita Falls, TX., with services on Monday 12/03/2012 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
