Mildred Marie Warnhoff, 94, of Pilot Grove, passed away December 2, 2012 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.
She was born January 22, 1918, in Clear Creek to Bernard and Rose Larm Twenter. On June 26, 1944, she married Walter Warnhoff, who preceded her in death in April 1981. She graduated from Business College in Boonville, worked for a bank in Pilot Grove for ten years, and was co-owner of the Warnhoff Grocery Store. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was a member of the Cooper County Republican Committee.
Survivors include one brother, Earl Twenter (Trudy) of Pilot Grove, one sister, Doris Bock (Leroy) of Blue Springs; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters: Esther Bockelman, Viola Fairfax, and Bessie Jean Bock.
Funeral services for Ms. Warnhoff will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10:30 AM, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery in Clear Creek.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of the service at the church.
