She became a performer at age 12. She joined the ENSA which was British equivalent of the USO. She came to America in January of 1945, and became a citizen on Nov. 10, 1947. She was a member of the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association. She was also a member of the Republican Committee. She was always willing to help those she could. She appreciated all living things and was a good listener.
