Ralph J. Knox, age 89, of Sedalia died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Resthaven Nursing Home. He was born on December 28, 1934, in Benton County, MO, son of James and Lola Allen Knoch.
On April 10, 1954, he was married to Frieda G. Brown. They made their home in Cole Camp, moving to Sedalia in 1964. Ralph was employed by the Missouri State Highway Department, retiring in 1992. He also had a tree trimming business with his brothers and by himself for 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda, 8 brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Mike Knox and John Knox, and his wife, Kathy, one daughter, Amy Consolver, and husband, Lloyd, all of Sedalia, three grandchildren, a brother, Arban Knoch, of Lathrop and a sister, Mary Harms, of Kansas City.
Services will be Friday, June 21, 2013, at 2:00 P.M., at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO.
Family will receive friends an hour prior to services on Friday.
Burial in Union Cemetery near Cole Camp, MO.
