Robert Joseph (Bob) Chamberlin, son of the late George E. and Oma A. Williams Chamberlin, passed away October 17. 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in San Antonio, Tx. He was born May 11, l947 in Sedalia, Mo. He attended Washington Grade School and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School. Before he moved to San Antonio he was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church and was a DeMolay. He worked at Chamberlin's Service Garage for a time, Hausam Parts Co. and the Sedalia Water Department.
He leaves behind, the love of his life, Sylvia, daughters Andrea Chamberlin & Cassity Chamberlin Moore (Daniel) Rohrer, a son Robert J. (Elena) Chamberlin Jr.,three grandchildren, two step children, and one step-granddaughter. Also surviving one brother, Milton E. (Sue) Chamberlin,Springfield, Mo., three sisters, Alberta (Ray) Young, Sedalia, Mo., Virginia (Wayne) Davis, Raymore, Mo. and Dorothy (Harold Lee) Smith, Centralia, Mo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bob enjoyed his family, playing the guitar,listening to music, writing music and fishing.
He retired from H.E.B. in San Antonio, Texas.
He will be cremated and his ashes will remain in San Antonio. There will be no formal service. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date in San Antonio.
