Ronald J. "Ron" Lovan, 83, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of Bryan, Texas, and Sedalia, Mo., died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.

He was born May 26, 1929, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the son of Norman Earl Lovan and Dora Agnes (Clingan) Lovan.
Survivors include a son, Gary Lovan, Battle Ground, Washington; 2 daughters, Teresa Gabbert, Kansas City, Mo., Susan O'Neal, Bryan, Tx.; a sister, Linda Marchbanks, Windsor, Mo.; 3 sisters-in-law, Ann Dial, Jacksonville, Fl., Doris Hale, Baton Rouge, La., Dorothy Alexander, Clinton, Mo. and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 11:00 a.m., at the Windsor United Methodist Church, with Rev. Peggy Eshelman officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the church.
