Sam Witt, Jr., 69, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Lafayette, Colorado.
He was born April 12, 1943, at Cheyenne, Wyoming, son of Sam and Flora (Gerken) Witt. He graduated from Smith-Cotton, class of 1961. Sam worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, his garden, and pets.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home, Sonya Salisbury (Clark) of Texas, Kim Peavy (Mark), Shelly Witt, and Kammy Witt, all of Florida, 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Lansing, (Bud) Sedalia; 1 nephew, Bill Lansing, (Darla) of Sedalia; and 2 nieces: Amber Marrs, (Jim) of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Tracy Williams, of Sedalia; as well as great and great great neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
