Troy Engler Obituary

Troy James Engler, 48, of Fort Meyers, FL, passed away at 11:43 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2011 while he was waiting to deliver a load at a Publix grocery store in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Troy was born October 17, 1962 in Sedalia, MO to Larry J. and Elverta M. (Davis) Engler.

Survivors include his father and stepmother Larry J. and Sandy Engler of Richmond, MO; his grandmother Georgia Davis of Sedalia; one brother and one sister-in-law Pastor Mark and Maria Engler, two nephews Brent and Joshua Engler, one great niece Kyleigh Engler and one great nephew Kelby Engler all of Mount Vernon, MO; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elverta M. Forsyth, grandfather Harley Davis, grandfather Lawrence Engler, & grandmother Frances Engler.

Troy was employed by Bailey Farms, Bonita Springs, Florida. He spent much of his life on the road as a truck driver. As he traveled throughout the U.S over the years he gained friends from many different areas who loved and cared for him.

Funeral services will be held at Parkview Christian Church in Sedalia, MO on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rodney Brown officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the family's choice.

Larry, Sandy, Mark and family. Our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of Troy. He came from a wonderful family so I'm sure he was a great guy! I haven't seen you for at least 30 years, but I wanted to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. Lot's of love and prayers are coming your way!
