William "Bill" Roy Janis, 73, of Sedalia, passed away, Saturday, April 28, 2013
at Truman Medical Center, Columbia, MO. He was born on September 27, 1939, in
Greenville, MO, a son of Roy and Mary (Wagnor) Janis.
In Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Delores Ellison On October 27, 1962,
who preceded him in death on March 2, 2005. On December 22, 2008 he was united
in marriage to Delores Renno, who survives of the home.
He loved to fish, and spend time with his buddy, Jim Cole. He especially
enjoyed working, fixing and piddling on about anything. He was co-owner and
operated Star TV of Sedalia. He served his country honorably in the US Air
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Marilyn White and her husband
Lance of Belton, MO; one stepdaughter, Lori Bollinger and her husband Yancy of
Jackson, MO; four stepsons, David Smith and his wife Tami of Eastlake, OH, Kelly
Smith and his wife Kindra of Neveda, MO, John Ream and his companion Pat Major
of Columbia and Grover Ream and his wife Sherry of Columbia; one granddaughter,
Emily; eighteen step grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Rea
Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Ted Francis officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, Sedalia in care
of the funeral chapel.
