Beverly Ann Williams

COLE CAMP — Beverly Ann Williams, 90, of Cole Camp, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp. She was born on January 18, 1924, at Omaha, Nebraska, a daughter of Paul Herman and Emma Anna (Taege) Fullner.

She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from North High School. She also attended Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she was baptized in 1924 and confirmed in 1936. On December 1, 1942, at Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, she was united in marriage to Leroy D. Williams Jr. SMS, Ret USAF, who preceded her in death on January 14, 1995.

Beverly was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, Greenville, SC. She was a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell Telephone and 13 com squadron in the Philippines, had worked at the Holiday Inn and Union Carbide in Greenville, SC, and volunteered at the VA Medical Center in Ashville, NC. She was a military wife for 22 1/2 years and had moved all over the U.S., the Philippines, and Germany. She loved gardening, flowers, and visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also, she enjoyed camping and fishing.

She is survived by: two daughters, Carol A. Baalman and her husband Neal, of Cole Camp and Jody W. Schuld and her husband Robert, of Marysville, OH; one sons, Lyman L. Williams and his wife Susan, of Piedmont, SC; one sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Fullner, of Erie, CO; five grandchildren, J. L. Baalman, Roian Baalman, Jason Baalman, Alexa Schuld, and Nicholas Schuld; and six great-grandchildren, Lauren Baalman, Landon Baalman, Spencer Noone, Hannah Baalman, Liam Baalman, and Micka Fields.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emma Fullner, and one brother, Lyman Fullner.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp, Missouri, with Pastor Sandy Schlesselman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Wounded Warriors or Missouri Veteran's Home, Warrensburg, in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
