Doris Wulff Obituary

Doris M. Wulff, age 82, of LaMonte, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Home in Concordia, Missouri.

She was born June 12, 1930, in Spencer, Nebraska, the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Shawn) Bignell. On November 13, 1954, Doris was united in marriage to Dannie Wulff in Fremont, Nebraska, the couple later relocated to Missouri.

Doris enjoyed working with her flowers and spending time with her children and their family's. She was a member of the LaMonte American Legion Auxiliary and the Harmony Baptist Church in Sedalia, she taught Sunday school and played the piano in Dresden for several years.

In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her four children; Judy Chassey of Leeton, Kevin Wulff and wife Brenda of Sweet Springs, Gary Wulff and wife Shelley of LaMonte and Tracy Myer and husband Joe of Sweet Springs. One brother, Dwight Bignell of Columbus, Nebraska. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Justin Wulff, Crystal Dowler, Valerie Wulff, Austin Myer and Cheyenne Meyer. Three step-grandchildren; Jason, Jeremy and Ryan Foltz. Four great-grandchildren; Haley Dowler, Riley Dowler, Anastin Wulff and Langdon Wulff. Four step-great grandchildren; Sierra, Brady, Tyler and Rena Foltz. She was preceded in death by her brother Leo Bignell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Moore Funeral Home in LaMonte with Pastor Alan Morse officiating, burial will follow in the LaMonte Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2012 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.
