Robert David Wells, 53, grew up in Plymouth and attended Salem High School of Canton, Class of 1979.
Bob was good with kids, and loved being a dad and a grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and was a true sports fan, especially the Detroit Tigers. He also loved animals, particularly his dog, Rascal.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Long (Norman) of Plymouth; his father, Harvey Wells (Carol) of Carbon Hill, Ala.; and his grandmother, Lorraine Wells, of Plymouth.
Bob is survived by his four children, Anne Wells (Pete) of Belding, Nicholas Wells (Kim) of Carson City, Philip Wells of North Branch and Jessica Wells of Ohio; plus seven grandchildren, Brandon, Anastasha, Kiera, Dakota, Xavier, Braxton and Alexis; and his fiancee, Manda Siesling, of Ionia.
Bob also leaves three brothers, Mark Wells (Carol) of Westland, Michael Wells of Plymouth, Tony Wells (Debbie) of Garden City; and three uncles, David Ingall of Westland, Larry Wells (Phyllis) and Ken Wells, both of LaChine, Mich.; plus nieces and nephews, Whitney, Amber, David, Steven and Emily Wells; a great-niece, Jasmine; and a great-nephew, Mayson.
Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis (OhOh) Wells, and Dave and Anne Ingall, all of Plymouth.
A Memorial Service is planned for Bob at noon Saturday, March 29, at the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene, 45801 Ann Arbor Road, Plymouth, Mich.
