Linda Demaree Obituary

Linda L. (Skelton) Demaree, 66, of Madison, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the King's Daughters Hospital. Born February 16, 1947 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Harold Maxwell and Evelyn (Scobee) Skelton, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Thomas Demaree on October 21, 2005; and one brother, Harold Lynn Skelton in 1991. Survivors include her husband, James Terry Demaree; one daughter, Angie Demaree of Madison; one sister, Judith Knoop of Shelbyville. Services were Monday at the Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service, 117 Holt Drive with interment in Grandview Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Faith Alliance Church, King's Daughters Hospital Home Health & Hospice or the Jefferson County Humane Society. Contribution cards will be available at the Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service.
