Tom Wylie

Funeral services for Tom Wylie, 68, Frankfort, will be held Friday 1 p.m. at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Jonathon Wells and Andrew Messinger will officiate. Burial will follow in Bagdad Cemetery. He died Tuesday at his residence. A native of Detroit, MI, he was a retired tool maker at Ohi America, member of Graefenburg Christian Church and a volunteer at Hospice of the Bluegrass. Tom is preceded in death by his mothers Connie Montfort Wylie (who died during childbirth) Pearl Wylie McCurdy and father, James Thomas Wylie. Survivors include his wife Joan G. Wylie, Frankfort; sons, Jeff (Tiffany) Wylie, Frankfort and Brian (Stacy) Wylie, Shelbyville; seven grandchildren Keaira, Noah, Mya, Cheyenne, Kylie, Lance and Jared. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hulker, Carl Hulker, Sammy Hulker, Danny Hulker, Bobby McCurdy, Colby Noland, Mike Bates and Larry McCurdy. Honorary bearers are Grover Hill, Gary McCurdy, Bill Stivers and Butch Rice. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Guestbook @ ljtfuneralhome.com.
