Ann Thompson Harris, 103, of Shelbyville died Friday, Feb. 07, 2014 at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was a member of Shelbyville First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 30 years and was active in the Young At Heart. She was a member of Shelby County Historical Society, Scott Station Homemakers and had been a volunteer at Henderson House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Harris, Sr. She is survived by her sons, James "Jim" S. Harris (Laura); Glenn Harris Jr. (Loyce); both of Richmond; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Maurice Hollingsworth officiating. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery.
