Ellen Frances Brown Perry, 84, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Homestead Nursing Center in New Castle. A native of Henry County, she was the daughter of the late William Martin Brown and Ellen Washington Morris Brown Bramblett. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles E. Ritchey Sr., brother, William Brown, and sister, Aleen Catlett Anglen. Survivors include her sons, James Lewis Ritchey of Clayvillage and George C. Ritchey of Shelbyville; daughters, Patsy Jones and Shirley D. Lambert, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Charles C. Bramblett of Waddy and Kenny Lacefield of Louisville; sisters, Nellie Tipton, Shirley Payton and Nancy Hill, all of Shelbyville, and Joyce Hockensmith of Finchville. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
