Eurith Black Self, 83, of Saint Matthews, died on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. Born on Feb. 28, 1929, in Henry County, she was the daughter of the late George Morris and Rosa Bell Webb Black. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ila Sheffield, Josephine O'Nan and Jewel Gill. She was a member of the Eminence United Methodist Church, and a retired employee of the Jefferson County Board of Education, having served a total of 23 years combined as the lunchroom manager at both Waggener High School and Kammerer Middle School. Survivors include her son, Roy "Tony" Self; daughter, Sonja Dineene Bradley, all of Louisville; her five grandchildren, Samantha Brady, Shon Bradley, Ryan Self, Kyle Self, and Evan Self; and her three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville. Interment will follow in the Dutch Tract Cemetery at Pleasureville. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
