Frederika Clore passed away at her home in Shelby County on Tuesday 30 April 2013 at age 78 of Alzheimer's disease. She was a grade school teacher at Campbellsburg and Eminence elementary schools in the mid 1960's then taught science at the Shelby County East Middle school until retiring to work full time in F & J Clore Distrubutors, the agri supply business she co-founded with her husband, Jack Clore. One of the first women entrepreneurs in a profession that was male dominated in the 1970's, she earned a reputation as a successful business woman. A graduate of the University of KY, she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She faithfully attended the Campbellsburg Methodist Church, the 1st Christian Church of Shelbyville, and the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Her compassion, kind heart, and keen sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Alan Clore.
