Gwendolyn "Gwen" Elizabeth Gilreath Buntain, 61, Simpsonville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. A native of Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Bartley and Mary Ann Rogers Gilreath. She was a homemaker throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Corinth Christian Church in Lawrenceburg. In addition to her parents, one son, Anthony Truman Buntain and one sister, Jean Satterly, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Truman A. Buntain of Simpsonville; one son, Bartley (Becky) Buntain of Shelbyville; one daughter, Mary (Chris) Dalton of Mt. Eden; two brothers, John (Darlene) Gilreath of Chestnut Grove and Terry (Rosemary) Gilreath of Shelbyville; two sisters, Geraldine Donovan and Diane (Mike) Rose, both of Shelbyville; one brother-in-law, Scott Satterly of Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Wesley and Kalie Dalton; two step-grandchildren, Kari and Christopher Peyton; three step-great-grandchildren, Donovan Purnell and Lilly and Katie Peyton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Bro. Roy "Junie" Temple, Jr. will officiate.
