Hartwell F. Montfort, 81, of Frankfort, formerly of Shelby County, died on Monday, the 13th day of November, 2017, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born in Shelby County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Frank Hartwell and Lucy Katherine Stivers Montfort.
His survivors include his wife of over sixty-one years, Betty J. Montfort, of Frankfort; and his daughters, Wendy Napier of Lawrenceburg and Lavenna Quire of Pleasureville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, the 17th day of November, 2017, at the Highland Baptist Church in Shelbyville, with Reverend Steve Galyon and Reverend Chris Platt officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky. Visitation was 5:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the Highland Baptist Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville.
