Erhard, Kathryn Leigh French, 46, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 10 at her home in Finchville, Kentucky.
Originally from Pekin, Indiana, she attended high school at Presentation Academy in Louisville and later received a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. She worked for Child Protective Services in Louisville, and recently served as teaching assistant at Simpsonville Elementary School and Meredith-Dunn School in Louisville.
She is survived by her husband R. Dennis Erhard, Jr., daughter Sarah (Wes) and son Matthew, stepsons DJ (Sarah) and Tyler (Kris) Erhard, and grandchildren Savannah, Ella and Clarah. She is also survived by parents Bob and Pam Saunders French, brother Zack (Jessica), aunts Jeanne Yates, Michele Nalley (Rick), uncle Mike Saunders (Pat), and cousins Andrea Lovo, Julie Parker (T.), Shannon Tucker, Isaac Nalley (Stephannie), Adam Nalley (Jessica), Johanna Crawford (Justin), and Bo Saunders (Marissa).
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Bob and Dolores French of Louisville and Judge Harold and Susie Saunders of Shelbyville.
Visitation will be at Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Kentucky on Saturday, January 13 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Sunday, January 14 from 1:00-5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Home of the Innocents in Louisville, and Hand in Hand Ministries.
