Lois Charlyne Chatham, 64, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014. Born in Louisville and reared in Shelbyville, she graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1967, the University of South Florida 1983, and Stetson University College of Law 1987 with a Juris Doctor Degree. She was the only female member of the Tampa Bay Men's Choir. After practicing law in Florida, she returned to Louisville. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Charles E Chatham; and brother, Gerald Lancaster Chatham. She is survived by her mother, Louise Lancaster Ostrander; sisters, Star Chatham and Lucy Chatham Kerman (Mark); brothers, Chuck Chatham and Robert S. Chatham (Karen); aunts, Bettie Lancaster Armstrong and Betty Jean Chatham; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be at Grove Hill Cemetery, 458 Mount Eden Road in Shelbyville on Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlyne's memory may be made via check to the Kentucky Humane Society, 1000 Lyndon Lane Suite B, Louisville, KY 40222 or , 161 St. Matthews Avenue, Suite 3, Louisville, Ky. 40207.
