Louis Glynn Pendleton, 76, of Shelbyville, KY, died Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at Norton Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville. He was a native of Adair County. An accomplished athlete, he played for the Adair County Indians in both the 1954 and 1955 Sweet Sixteen State Basketball Championship tournaments. He was a self-employed businessman and retired from Joe Pendleton & Son Heating and Air and later from The House of Knives. He was a 50-year, 32nd Degree Mason. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Pendleton and Mary Lois Sanders Pendleton and a daughter, Valerie Pendleton Norsworthy. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Montgomery Pendleton, Shelbyville; daughter, Debra Pendleton Oates (Jim), Shelbyville; grandchildren, James M. Oates, Jr., Marina Del Rey, CA, Jennifer G. Oates, Shelbyville, Adam D Norsworthy (Taylor), Versailles, Kyle L. Norsworthy (fianc‚ Jen), Wilder. Great-grandchildren, Nathan T. Oates, Shelbyville and Levi T. Norsworthy, Versailles. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. CST, Monday, January 14, 2013 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, Columbia, KY. Burial at Shiloh Christian Church cemetery in Columbia.
