Millard M. Jesse, 93, of Waddy, died Friday, April 6, 2018 at his residence. He was a native of Shelby County and worked as a farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was also a long-time member of both the Clayvillage Baptist Church and the Waddy Ruritan Club. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and University of Kentucky sports. He was preceded in death by wife, Emma Clark Jesse. He is survived by his son, Clark Jesse of Waddy; his brothers, Guthrie Jesse, Jr. of Waddy and Raymond Jesse of Shelbyville; his sister, Carolyn Logan of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Hank Jesse, Porter Jesse, and Anna Jesseâ€"all of Waddy. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10th at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Bolton and the Rev. Marshall Phillips officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 9th at the Shannon Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Clayvillage Baptist Church.
