Roger Curtis Green Sr., age 98, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at his home in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He was a member of Shelbyville First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Fannie Mae Green; and wife, Ruby Adams Green; brothers and sisters, Bernard C. Green, C. Boyd Green, Joseph Green, Luther Green, and Pearl McAllister. He is survived by two sons, Roger C. Green, Jr. (Shirley) and Robert L. Green (Cindy T.), both of Shelbyville; five grandchildren, Joseph Todd Green (Barbara), Robin Louise Langley (Doug), Lindsey Ann Green, Austin Tygrett Green, and Alex Newbern Green; and six great grandchildren, Travis Xavier Green, Zachary Todd Green, Curtis Alexander Green, Bruce Langley, Christopher Langley, and Elaine Langley. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial is at Grove Hill Cemetery.
