Rose Kathleen Suter Quickert, 71, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at her residence. She was a Methodist and had attended Olive Branch Methodist Church. She was a retired farmer and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morton C. Quickert; daughter, Lana Jo Quickert; father, George L. Suter and sisters, Wanda Jean Suter and Martha June Beckley. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Pilcher (Larry), Shelbyville; mother, Pauline Banta Suter, Shelbyville; granddaughters, Kayla Kathleen Pilcher, Louisville; Lana Jo Garitty (Christian), Tyndall AFB, Florida; grandson, Benjamin Smitha (Lesleigh), Shelbyville; great grandchildren, Serenity and Jack Garitty, Florida; Lexy, Lyzzie, and Tanner Smitha, Shelbyville; sister, Carolyn Sharp (Vernon), Drennon; brothers, Charles Suter (Wilma) and Roy Suter (Louise), both of Indiana, and Larry Dean Suter (Debbie), Hatton, KY. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Baxter officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the funeral home.
