Sean Stacy Cassedy


Sean Stacy Cassedy, 31, Bagdad, died unexpectedly Monday, May 13, 2013 in Louisville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps and had served three tours in Iraq. He had attended Jefferson Community and Technical College and the University of Indiana Southeast. He had completed his associate's degree and was one semester away from his bachelor's. He was a network engineer with Syscom. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and Southeast Christian Church. Survivors include his parents, Linn and Carol L. Cassedy of Bagdad; four sisters, Heather Brooks Johnston of Frankfort, Sarah Cassedy Horrar of Jeffersontown, Hannah Craig of Lincoln, IL and Rebekah Ruth Cassedy of Bagdad; two brothers, Stephen J. Cassedy of Bagdad and Joshua Nathaniel Cassedy of Pittsburgh, PA; two nieces, Brooke and Ella Johnston; his fianc‚, Stacy Norman of Crestwood and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff with military honors.
