William "Billy" Crombie, 76, of Shelbyville, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel and one of the first members of the Shelby Co. Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Crombie; and parents, William and Christine Crombie. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Crombie, and Karen Kummer, both of Louisville; Donna Jo Cheak and Janie Price, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Natasha Kennedy, Jesse Allen Price Jr., Brittany Jo Martin, Logan Kummer, Tori Kummer; great grandchildren, Sarah Leigh Price, Gabriella Martin, Nickole "Kole" Martin; and brothers, David Crombie, Louisville; and Gayle Crombie, Frankfort. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Temple Jr. and Allen Clark officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to
