Winnie M. Payne Loving, 80, Shelbyville, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. A native of Eminence, she was the daughter of the late Lucille Talbert and James William Payne. She was the widow of George Richard Loving Sr. She was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and painting. She was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Louisville where she had served as a children?s Sunday School teacher and an usher. In addition to her parents and husband, two sons, George Richard Loving Jr. and Billy Edward Loving, five brothers, Frank Payne, Billy Payne, Dennis Green, John Payne and Albert L. Payne and one step-granddaughter, Tiffany Leigh Vertress, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, David Lee Loving, Sr. (Diana) of Radcliff, Donald Gene Loving (Kathy I.) of Simpsonville and Bobby Joe Loving (Jessica C.) of Southville; two daughters, Windy Mae Loving and Kathy Loving, both of Shelbyville; one brother, David Payne (Gwen) of Simpsonville; four sisters, Ella Ford of Louisville, Hallie Loving (June) of Shelbyville, Mary Helen Payne of Louisville and Shirley Green of Frankfort; daughter-in-law, Nancy Harris Loving of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Tracy Lynn Loving, George Loving III, David Lee Loving, Jr., Amber Yvette Loving, Sonya Saunders Loving, Michael Brandon Loving, Jesse Andrew Loving and Robert Tyler Loving; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Jordan Loving and Macy Breanne Loving; two step-grandchildren, Bruce Westerfield and Joshua Westerfield; two step-great-grandchildren, Branda Westerfield and Erin Westerfield and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 11 a.m. Rev. Kevin Love of St. Luke Baptist Church and Rev. Joe Humphrey of New Covenant Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morton-Beckley Funeral Directors.
