John Walter Watts, 80, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at his residence with his family by his side. John was a retired inspector for CSX Railroad, a member of the Laurel Homeguard Civil War Re-enactment, and the First Christian Church, London. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Walls Watts; four children, Jessica Claudine Loving, Stanley Earl, Keith Allen, and John Michael Watts; two brothers, Leon and Ralph Watts; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 14 at 1 p.m. at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 11 am Saturday until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that food be donated for a celebration of life gathering to be held Saturday after the funeral.
