Rand Alan Spector
Rand Spector, aged 61, passed away on March 8 after a long battle with cancer . Rand grew up in New Jersey during the 1960's. He was one of the few who actually bought a ticket to Woodstock. After graduating from Adelphi University in Long Island, New York, Rand and his friends came out to Northern California, in his VW Van. After several careers he found his dream job as an Investment Advisor. He enjoyed golf, good food and a nice glass of wine with good friends. His true passion in life was his wife Denise, daughter Rachel and son Elliot. He had a wonderful smile, a quick laugh, and a wisdom that came from, as he used to say, "a keen sense of the obvious." He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is also survived by his mother Beverly Margolis, brother Steven Spector and nephew Justin. Memorial donations can be made to the Bonnie J Addario Lung Cancer Foundation at lungcancerfoundation.org.
