Florence was an amazing woman and we miss her very much! She was a wonderful friend and mentor to my mother for many years. She had an eternal grace and elegance about her that drew people towards her. I am grateful to have known her, her husband Bill, and also to have known Neil. My sincere condolences on her passing.

Very sad at the passing of a wonderful friend and mentor. Glad that we had a chance to touch bases and catch up last summer at a lunch at Chez Panisse. I will never forget her many kindnesses and life lessons at the health department.
