Carmelo Cottonaro

Carmelo James Cottonaro At rest at the age of 91. Born in San Francisco, California. Proud veteran of the United States Navy having served in WWII.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Henrietta; he is survived by his son Michael and daughter Colleen; he will be missed by his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Carmelo was a longtime employee of Hunter's Point Naval Shipyard. He spent much time in his garden and loved to watch his sunflowers grow each year. He was a member of the S.I.R.'s and a lifetime member of the South San Francisco Elks Club.
Friends may visit Monday, February 4, 2013 from 3-9pm and are invited to attend the Rosary at 7pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 10am at St. Veronica Church, 434 Alida Way, South San Francisco. Burial to follow at Italian Cemetery, Colma.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the in his memory would be appreciated.
