Eleanor Angwin

Eleanor Penfield Angwin, 84, peacefully passed away at her home March 20, 2013, from complications of Parkinsons Disease but not before living a full and gregarious life. A lifelong Piedmont resident, her involvement in many clubs and organizations gathered her many beloved friends through the Pi Beta Phi sorority and Panhellenic at UC Berkeley, PHS Class of '46 Alumni, East Bay Children's Theater, Home Gardeners Club, Young Matrons Book Club, First Friday Club, Junior League, Piedmont Historical Society and Piedmont Seniors group. She also loved sporting with her friends playing golf, tennis, dominos and bridge and traveling and entertaining with her husband, the late James Vincent Angwin. She was mother to Baby Randy Angwin (deceased), Dee Angwin (Robert Meddaugh) and Libby Greer (Chuck) and grandmother to Barney and Dusty Greer. Friends and family are invited to attend her Celebration of Life at Orinda Country Club, 315 Camino Sobrante, Orinda, on April 13 at noon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the .
